Getting ready to start post on the last film I will edit using FCP7. I’ve got a documentary, two short films and a bunch of smaller stuff before I will take a week off to upgrade my edit station and all associated software. I am extremely excited and terrified for this to happen. Premiere Pro is definitely first up on the chopping block and I have heard a lot of great things about it (Walter Murch’s current NLE) but the automation of FCPX is undeniable (shot recognition, keyword based organization, etc).
